Ben Sheridan

Born in slough and some how ended up in the norwich area. Hi im Ben a Twenty Three year old aspiring Actor from around the Norwich area U.K. I have studied acting at City Collage Norwich, from 2009 to 2012 With a course at St georges Theatre Great yarmouth several years prio to that. I have been actively seeking performances and auditions ever since, as well as taking part in workshops and performances of a wide diversity. An interesting thing to note is that i havent been to drama school, instead i wish to use the time I would spend studying at drama school to activily seek auditions and take part in workshops as well as research the techniques taught in drama school so I dont miss out on too much and get to physically practice my craft and improve. I  like to use previous experiance from roles and productions to enter with a level head and work co-operativly with cast and crew every performance is differant after all. I consider a wide range of aspects when creating a character including listening to other actors and professionals on what they say during interviews and documentarys, for example I now think more about body language from listening to Bert Reynolds on what he thinks makes a good screen actor and Tom Hanks's interview about believing in a role when confronted with a green screen. I am confident, energetic, level headed, easy to work with, flexible, dedicated, hard working, punctual, focused and determined. I like to show and attain the highest level of a professional outlook I can.

 

Studied Acting for four years involving devising, musicals, historical context, masked theatre, contemporary theatre, shakespearean theatre, Childrens theatre, theatre in education which resulted with a tour of some schools and colleges from around the Norwich area, site specific performance, radio performance's, Greek theatre, voice.

 

Performance's involved in are Musicals, shakespearean, contemporary, public performance, masked theatre (comedia dell'arte), radio performance, site specific, controversial, Greek theatre, Bizare theatre, theatre in the round. I have also played guitar  and sung on a live stage performance and performed in thrust staging.
